Raw Material Sourcing began servicing larger printing/converting companies in the summer of 2010.
The director of Raw Material Sourcing, Jeff Boyd, holds a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. Jeff was the Purchasing Manager of a large specialty label/form manufacturer in the Midwest for over 20 years. He began his career there in 1986 as an Estimator, back in the day when most companies used their Estimators to find the correct raw materials and pricing needed to quote and produce specialty forms, labels, and form/label combination products. Because of his relentless pursuit to always find the highest quality sources at the best possible prices, he was placed in charge of all specifying of materials for quotations and orders.
Over the years, Jeff Boyd has made many strong relationships with paper mills, film extruders, and specialty coater/laminators on everthing from microsphere adhesives to FDA approved heat seal coatings.
Raw Material Sourcing is dedicated to utilize these relationships and experience to provide its customers with prompt quotes and/or samples to help them either win new business, or to gain market share of existing products already offered, by saving money in the procurement of raw materials.
Raw Material Sourcing is not a broker. Our customers know exactly where all materials are produced, are free to schedule plant visits or audits, and are invoiced by the companies we represent. Any commission earned from our sales come from the companies we represent.
